Brad Miller joined Ball Janik LLP in 1994 and serves on the firm’s Management Committee. His principal areas of practice are real estate leasing, acquisitions, and financing, project finance, and general business law. Mr. Miller has extensive experience representing clients on industrial, office, retail and multi-family purchases and sales, and he represents national developers of multi-family projects. He also assists a number of the Northwest’s leading developers and property owners with industrial, retail, and office leases. During the recent economic turmoil, Mr. Miller has extended his practice to advising clients on creative ways to acquire distressed properties and loans and representing landlords and tenants in the renegotiation of leases.

Mr. Miller is a board member of Commercial Association of Brokers® and of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and is an active participant in other real estate industry groups. He has published numerous articles and frequently lectures at continuing education programs on leases, purchase agreements, loan documentation, and other real estate topics.
Mr. Miller currently serves on the board of the St. Andrew Legal Clinic. Reflecting his commitment to sustainability, he is an avid bicycle commuter, hiker, and runner, and is a frequent participant in Cycle Oregon.
