Laura Craska Cooper Elected to Board of OWLS

Ball Janik LLP announced today that Ball Janik’s managing partner of the Bend office, Laura Craska Cooper, was recently elected to serve on the board of the Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS). Ms. Cooper, who focuses her law practice in real estate, business, and land use, is also very active serving as the chair of the Board of Commissioners for Housing Works, the assumed business name of the Central Oregon Regional Housing Authority. She was most recently appointed to the Budget Committee of the Central Oregon Community College. She also serves as a board member and Secretary/Treasurer of the Prineville Hospital Foundation. In addition, she serves as a board member and Secretary of the Oregon State University/Cascades Board of Advisors. Ms. Cooper received her law degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
