A news mention published on 6/27 in Orlando Sentinel highlights Natasha Biela’s appointment to serve on the Florida Bar Government Advocacy Committee. Beginning July 1, Biela will have the unique chance to converse with leadership from the Florida Bar regarding a variety of proposals that further the committee’s reach.
The committee works to promote and uphold the professional standards of lawyers participating in lobbyist activities throughout Florida. They offer numerous opportunities for lawyers and lobbyists to remain engaged, such as providing legal education, mentorship, and networking.
“The Florida Bar’s Government Advocacy Committee is a dynamic and key resource for all lawyers and lobbyists striving to enhance professionalism in the field by engaging in meaningful collaboration,” said Biela. “I’m honored to be serving on a committee that places standards, education, and mentorship at the forefront of their mission to create a culture of continuous learning and growth.”
Biela focuses on solving complex design construction defect claims both regionally and nationally at Ball Janik LLP’s Orlando office. Biela received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was the recipient of the CALI award for the highest grade in her class. She also received her B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh.
