In a news mention, Ball Janik LLP’s newest attorney Erin Volesky has been featured, following her swearing-in ceremony and admission to the Florida Bar. Volesky, who joined Ball Janik in its Orlando office in 2024, focuses her legal practice on construction defect litigation and represents owners, including community associations, in construction defect claims against developers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
“Erin is a bright attorney who has demonstrated determination to become an advocate for our clients and is a valued member of our firm. This is a significant milestone, and we are proud to have her on our team,” said James C. Prichard, Ball Janik Managing Partner. “Her proven ability to contribute to our Construction Defect Practice will only continue to grow, as she is now authorized to represent clients.”
Before joining Ball Janik, Volesky served as a judicial intern for the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Volesky earned her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a member of the Florida Journal of International Law. She also studied abroad at Leiden Law School in the Netherlands and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea. Volesky received a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas.
