Ball Janik LLP is seeking an attorney to assist with its general counsel and collections practice located in the Portland, Oregon office. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in residential real estate matters, including experience drafting, interpreting, and amending governing documents for condominium associations and planned communities, drafting Board resolutions and ballot proxies, interpreting and drafting easements, and analyzing and assisting with collection of HOA assessments. Experience with HOA lien and/or mortgage foreclosure work, as well as Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, is considered a plus and compensation will be commensurate with experience. Strong academic credentials and admission to the Oregon State Bar are required.
