An article published on 12/29 in The Daily Business Review features insights from Miami Partner Gabriel Z. Coelho highlighting the growth and an optimistic outlook of the firm, with the relocation of the Miami office to the 41st floor in the downtown Miami Tower. The move was initiated to expand the office space, due to massive case volume, new attorney hires, and increased demand from clients like condominium associations and building owners.
“Florida is booming everywhere. We’ve done a lot of successful litigation for our clients and have gotten successful recoveries,” Coelho said.
The publication gathered data from various firms across the nation, showing increases in headcount and revenue for most companies. Ball Janik is no exception, acquiring a backlog of cases large enough to keep the firm busy for the next 5 years.
“We’re conservative by nature, just because every law firm should be,” said Coelho. “We’ve been very careful to not enter into a market unnecessarily, unless we feel confident that the work and the demands and the attorney power to crystallize all that is there.”
