Natalia A. Duran is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction Defect and Litigation practice group. Ms. Duran represents owners and community associations in construction defect claims, including litigation and mediation. 

Prior to joining Ball Janik, Ms. Duran’s practice focused on commercial litigation, where she represented several major financial institutions and food and beverage companies. Ms. Duran’s experience includes breach of contract claims, statutory fraud claims, civil investigative demands, and internal investigations. Ms. Duran also has experience in pro-bono matters for immigration and veterans’ legal issues. 

Ms. Duran earned her Juris Doctor and certificate of specialization in Law and Business from Vanderbilt Law School. During her time in law school, Ms. Duran externed with the Office of the District Attorney in Nashville, Tennessee, where she appeared in probable cause hearings and assisted in case preparation. She also dedicated her time as a Spanish translator for Vanderbilt’s Legal Aid Society in their Immigration Clinic.
