Nicolas C. St. Laurent

Nicolas C. St. Laurent is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Real Estate and Land Use practice groups. Mr. St. Laurent’s practice is focused on commercial development and transactional real estate, and consumer finance.
Prior to joining Ball Janik, Mr. St. Laurent served as a Law Clerk in the Washington, DC Office of U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, where he assisted the Technology and Trade team in carrying out policy actions in digital privacy, cybersecurity, encryption, Fourth Amendment rights, law enforcement technology, and e-commerce taxation.
Mr. St. Laurent obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 2019, where he served as an active member of the Texas Business Law Society. Mr. St. Laurent obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in 2016, where he played Division 1 lacrosse while studying History with a concentration in Empire, Science, and Industry.
Mr. St. Laurent is a member of the Real Estate section of the Oregon State Bar.
Outside of the office, Mr. St. Laurent is active in OHSU’s Young Philanthropists group, which seeks to energize the fundraising efforts of the OHSU and Doernbecher Foundations.
In his free time, Mr. St. Laurent’s interests include physical therapy, stock investment, and music production. Mr. St. Laurent also enjoys aviation and is pursuing his private pilot’s license.
