Vivian Archie is a paralegal in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction Defect and Litigation Practices. Based in the firm’s Orlando office, Ms. Archie aids the attorneys in their representation of community associations and owners in construction defect claims.
Prior to joining Ball Janik, Ms. Archie worked as the supervising paralegal at another construction defect law firm focused on the representation of owners, where she led a couple of cases to just weeks before going to trial, and guided many others to early settlement. Because Ms. Archie has over 20 years of previous experience working on the defense side of construction defect cases, she is able to anticipate both sides of a claim. She understands the necessity of intense organization in these often complex cases, and has developed strategies to make records readily available. In addition, Vivian has extensive experience in both complex commercial and general litigation, including contract disputes, foreclosures, collections, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and general liability and, lastly, the multi-faceted Chinese Drywall disputes.
After hours, Vivian volunteers at a homeless shelter and at a safehouse for women. In her free time, she enjoys spending time traveling to see her favorite live band.
