Erin Rohan Smith is special counsel with Ball Janik LLP’s Construction Defect practice group. Ms. Smith’s practice is focused on assisting owners facing construction defects solve complex problems. She is a Florida Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law, designated by the Florida Bar as an expert in Construction Law (fewer than 1% of all lawyers in Florida have achieved this designation). She has been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2018-2019.
Prior to joining Ball Janik, Ms. Smith focused her practice on the representation of owners with construction issues, including owners with construction defects. She also has extensive experience in construction lien law and delay claims, affording her the ability to further contribute to Ball Janik’s multifaceted approach and unique skillset in the representation of owners.
