Greg K. Demers is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction and Litigation practice groups. He represents residential, commercial, and public owners in construction disputes of all types, including construction, design, and product defect.

Mr. Demers has a strong work ethic and passion for service. Before attending law school, he served as a Heavy Machine Gunner in the Israeli Army’s Nahal Infantry Brigade, 932nd Battalion. Mr. Demers has continued his commitment to others through his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and OneBlood.

Prior to joining Ball Janik LLP, Mr. Demers assisted clients in construction disputes, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. This experience gives Mr. Demers a unique insight into various litigation strategies and pitfalls to avoid, and helps to obtain the best outcomes for clients.

Mr. Demers has a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Mr. Demers attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at the University of Florida, Mr. Demers was an Executive Research Editor of the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy; obtained a certificate of excellence for pro bono work and worked in the Family Law Clinic; and made the Dean’s List in fall of 2013 and 2015.

When he is not working or volunteering, Mr. Demers enjoys drumming, golfing, and rooting for UCF Football.
