Kayla Mosquera’s passion for law arises from her love of solving complex problems. As an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction Defect and Litigation Practice Group in the Miami office, Kayla assists and represents owners and community associations concerning construction defect claims, including litigation and mediation. Her exceptional communication and collaboration skills, combined with her diligent work ethic, ensure every detail associated with a case is evaluated, considered, and incorporated into the best strategy for a client’s desired outcome.

Before joining the firm, Kayla was an associate attorney at a commercial litigation firm, focusing on government liability, insurance litigation, and labor and employment law. Additionally, she worked as a campaign coordinator for the Honorable Judge Tanya Brinkley, where she developed her organizational, communicative, and critical thinking skills while seamlessly juggling various responsibilities concerning scheduling conflicts, campaign hurdles, networking, managing cross-functional teams, and marketing campaigns.

When she is not in the office, Kayla enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through yoga and traveling. She is also a certified yoga instructor.
