
Overview
Logan Templeton is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Orlando office and works in the firm’s Construction Defect Practice Group. With a decade of experience, Mr. Templeton brings valuable insight into construction defect litigation, having previously represented both policyholders and carriers in property and casualty matters. He now supports community associations, commercial property owners, and homeowners in all stages of litigation from initial case review through resolution, including mediation and trial preparation. His extensive experience in insurance matters, including claims for storm damage, water intrusion, plumbing failures, fire, vandalism, and third-party bodily injury, provides a deeper understanding of the types of policies clients should consider. Mr. Templeton is skilled in all phases of litigation, including drafting and arguing dispositive and evidentiary motions, handling depositions, representing clients in mediations and arbitrations, managing written discovery, and preparing matters for trial.
Early in his career, Mr. Templeton established a first-party insurance practice at a boutique firm, where he was responsible for client development, case management, and originating matters across multiple practice areas. He has experience supervising legal teams and overseeing operations. His background also includes commercial and residential real estate transactions, including document preparation, entity formation, and acquisition negotiations.
