Ball Janik LLP Attorneys Selected to 2019 Florida Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists

Super Lawyers Magazine announced today that Evan Small, Partner, and Brian Crevasse, Special Counsel, in Ball Janik LLP’s construction defect practice group have been selected to the 2019 Florida Super Lawyers list, along with attorneys Erin Rohan Smith and Jeff Widelitz, who have been designated to the 2019 Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. All four attorneys are from Ball Janik LLP’s Orlando, Florida office.

Partner, Evan Small, and Special Counsel attorneys Brian Crevasse and Erin Rohan Smith are Florida Board Certified Specialists in Construction Law, designated by the Florida Bar as experts in Construction Law (fewer than 1% of all lawyers in Florida have achieved this designation). Their practice is devoted to assisting clients in solving complex construction problems with a focus on representing owners in prosecuting construction defect and insurance coverage claims.

Attorney Jeff Widelitz is an associate in Ball Janik LLP’s Construction practice group. Mr. Widelitz’s practice is devoted to assisting clients solve complex construction problems with a focus on representing owners in prosecuting construction defect and insurance coverage claims. He has extensive experience handling large scale residential and commercial construction defect cases.

The selection process for the Super Lawyers list is based on peer nominations and evaluations combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. To be eligible for inclusion in the Rising Stars list, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
