In an article published on 9/29 in Informed Infrastructure, Ball Janik LLP’s newest Associate Jocelyn Rocha is highlighted for joining the Miami office. Rocha is part of the firm’s Construction Defect Practice Group. She has experience assisting in homeowners’ insurance cases that involve property disputes, representing first-party and third-party claims.
Her legal experience includes handling depositions, mediations, trial preparation, and drafting motions and pleadings. She has also served as second chair in several successful trials, delivering opening statements and managing expert and witness examinations.
Rocha joins Ball Janik from other boutique law firms in Miami and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She received her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she held leadership roles in multiple student organizations, and her undergraduate degree in political science from Florida State University.
