In an article published on April 8 in Attorney at Law Magazine, Ball Janik LLP announced that litigation attorney Kailey Evans has joined the Orlando office as an associate in the firm’s Construction Defect Practice. Evans brings over 15 years of litigation experience in construction defect, insurance recovery, and complex civil matters, reinforcing the firm’s depth for clients navigating technically demanding disputes.

Her background includes trying more than 20 criminal cases as an Assistant State Attorney, practicing across multiple litigation areas, and serving in private practice roles that built her construction defect experience representing subcontractors in complex cases. She received her law degree from the University of Florida – Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where she competed on the Trial Team and was recognized as a Final Four Best Advocate, and she received her bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Florida State University.

“We’re excited to welcome Kailey to our firm,” said James C. Prichard, Managing Partner at Ball Janik LLP. “Her understanding of construction defect litigation, combined with her trial experience and ability to manage complex discovery and expert coordination, makes her an exceptional addition to our team and a tremendous resource for our clients.”
