Ball Janik LLP announced that Kailey Evans has joined its Orlando office as an Associate in the Construction Defect Practice. With over 15 years of litigation experience spanning construction defect, insurance recovery, and complex civil matters, Evans brings a sophisticated understanding of construction disputes and a demonstrated ability to achieve favorable outcomes across all phases of litigation.

Evans’ legal career spans multiple practice areas, equipping her with a comprehensive litigation skill set. Her background includes service as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office, 9th Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she tried more than 20 criminal cases and developed strong litigation fundamentals. She has also practiced family law and personal injury defense, and spent more than five years at the Cohen Law Group, where she was elevated to partner. Her expertise in construction defects was further developed during her tenure at Boyd and Jenerette, P.A., where she represented subcontractors in complex construction defect cases.
