In an article published on December 21, 2020, Phillip Joseph discusses the short-and long-term impacts of retail evictions due to the pandemic. “Ultimately, it’s unclear if the moves aggressive landlords are making will be in their long-term favor,” said Phillip. “Of course, it’s likely landlords that are pursuing legal action against tenants will regain possession of the leased premises and obtain a money judgment. However, the win may come at a cost.”
