Steve Janik Assists Multnomah County Courthouse Committee

Steve Janik, on a pro bono basis, has been serving on a committee established by Multnomah County to develop a plan for funding the much needed new Multnomah County Courthouse. This follows up on Steve’s work, at the request of the Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court, to work on developing a funding mechanism for the long term solution to Oregon’s statewide problem of a lack of funding for rehabilitation or reconstruction of the State’s county courthouses most of which are more than 70 or more years old.
